Do you have news / celebrity / traffic data?

No — non-e-commerce data (news, celebrity endorsements, media traffic, patents, academic research) is out of scope. However, the consumer responses and market movements that result from those activities are visible in our e-commerce data.

What Trendier doesn't cover

  • Press coverage and industry news

  • Academic research and papers

  • Patent databases

  • Regulatory information

  • Celebrity endorsements and TV appearances

  • Website traffic

  • Ad spend and media impressions

  • Social buzz / follower data

So what can Trendier do?

Trendier captures actual consumer behavior and market movement directly from e-commerce data. The reason we can spot trends earlier than the news is that we operate on real-time e-commerce signals.

Examples — capturing the impact of external activity

Celebrity marketing impact — surges in specific celebrity mentions in reviews, ranking changes for related products, review spikes — all proxies for marketing effect.
Ad / promotion exposure — post-promotion price movements, ranking shifts, and review trends. Not full ROI, but you can see market response.
Patent / new tech commercialization — track how new tech is adopted in actual products and how consumers respond — useful for validating commercial value.

Common follow-up questions

How should I measure marketing campaign performance?
Use your own marketing or ad analytics tools for ROI. Trendier is best for competitive benchmarking and consumer sentiment validation.

Will additional sources be added?
No current plans. We do continuously expand coverage, so any updates will be communicated separately.
