AI Chat isn't a chatbot — it's a data interface. Prompts that work well read more like search queries with context than casual questions.

Works well:

"Compare the average price of centella moisturizers on Coupang vs Olive Young in May 2026"

"List new sunscreen SKUs launched on Amazon US in Q1 2026 with more than 50 reviews"

"What claims appear most frequently in 4-5 star reviews for lip tints on Olive Young?"

Works less well:

"Tell me about centella products" (no channel, no metric, no time)

"What should I sell?" (AI Chat provides data, not business advice)

"Is this ingredient trending?" (which ingredient? on which channel? trending by what measure?)

The difference is specificity. Every variable you leave unspecified is one AI Chat has to assume — and assumptions introduce variation.

A prompt that produces useful output typically answers four questions: what marketplace, what products, what time window, and what metric.

Weak: "What's trending in skincare?"

Strong: "What are the top 10 rising skincare brands on Olive Young by review count growth in the last 90 days?"

The weak prompt forces AI Chat to pick a channel, a product scope, a time range, and a ranking metric on its own. The strong prompt locks all four.

What if I don't know which channel to specify?

Ask a broad question first: "Which channels have the most data for [category]?" — then narrow from there.

Is there a character limit on prompts?

No hard limit, but shorter, focused prompts generally produce better results than long, multi-part requests. If you need multiple analyses, use follow-up queries.

My answer didn't include the data I expected — what happened?

AI Chat may not have data for the specific channel, time range, or category you requested. Try broadening the time range, switching channels, or asking "What data is available for [category] on [channel]?" to check coverage first.
