Step 1: Choose your template
AI Agent reports are built on templates. You have two options:
Use a default Trendier template — available out of the box, covering common scenarios for brands, retailers, and manufacturers. No setup needed — start prompting immediately.
Register a custom template — if your team has a preferred report format, send it to your account manager. Your AM registers it as your company's AI Agent skill. This is a one-time setup.
Step 2: Write your prompt
Once your template is ready, open AI Chat and describe what you need in natural language — the same way you'd ask AI Chat a question. AI Agent handles the research, pulls the relevant data, and produces a structured report based on your prompt and template.
Examples of good prompts:
"Generate a trend discovery report for the Korean sunscreen category on Olive Young, focusing on SPF 50+ products launched in the last 6 months"
"Create a brand opportunity report comparing our top 5 competitors on Amazon US in the lip care category"
"Build a retail pitch report for Coupang buyers showing the growth trajectory of vegan skincare"
Step 3: Download your report
Once generated, download the report. Downloads are unlimited — you can download the same report as many times as you need. Each report generation (not each download) consumes credits.
Updating your template
Default templates: no update needed — just change your prompt to adjust the output
Custom templates: contact your AM to update the registered skill. Once updated, new reports follow the revised format
Common follow-up questions
How many custom templates can my team register?
Your AM can register multiple custom skills for different teams, use cases, or recipients. Talk to your AM about your team's needs.
Can different team members use different templates?
Yes. Any Business plan user can prompt AI Agent using any template available to the account — both default and custom-registered.
Do I need to register a custom template to use AI Agent?
No. Default Trendier templates are ready to use immediately. Custom registration is optional — for teams that want reports in a specific format.
Can I adjust the output without changing the template?
Yes — your prompt controls what the report covers. The template controls how it's formatted. You can change scope, focus, or data range just by changing your prompt.
